Baytril® Max (Baytril® 100, Baytril® One-Shot Injection)

Composition
1 ml injectable solution contains 100 mg Enrofloxacin.

Indications for use
Enrofloxacin is a synthetic anti-infective of the fluoroquinolone class.
Baytril® 10% Max injectable solution is indicated for the therapy of infectious diseases in pigs where clinical experience, supported if possible by sensitivity testing of the causal organisms, indicates Enrofloxacin as the drug of choice.

Respiratory and enteric diseases (Pasteurellosis, Mycoplasmosis, Colibacillosis, Colisepticaemia and Salmonellosis) and multifactorial diseases such as atrophic rhinitis, enzootic pneumonia and metritis-mastitis-agalaxia syndrome in sows.

Baytril® is effective against the following microorganisms: Mycoplasma spp., E. coli, Salmonella spp., Bordetella spp., Pasteurella spp., Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and Staphylococcus spp.

Route of administration
For intramuscular administration.
Not more then 10 ml should be administered at one i.m. injection site.

Dosage
A single injection of 7.5 mg Enrofloxacin/kg bw, (= 7.5 ml Baytril® Max10%/100 kg bw)

Withdrawal period
Established for edible tissues according to national regulations
