Chicken wings & blue cheese dip

Ingredients
1 kg chicken wings
Vegetable oil for deep-frying
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons barbecue spice mixture
Tabasco sauce and lemon juice
For the dip
100 g crème fraîche
100 g mayonnaise
100 g yoghurt
150 g blue cheese
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 clove garlic
Sugar and pepper
Preparation
Vegetable accompaniment: celery, peppers and other crisp vegetables cut into sticks.
Crumble the blue cheese and mix with the other ingredients. Crush the garlic and add to the dip together with sugar and pepper to taste. Salt is not usually necessary because of the cheese.
Deep-fry the chicken wings in hot oil for 8-10 minutes until nice and crispy. Melt the butter and add the barbecue spice mixture, tabasco sauce and lemon juice. Toss the chicken wings in the sauce until well coated and keep warm.
Serve the chicken wings with the dip and vegetable sticks.
